This small tintype is mounted on a CDV sized card with an embossed frame.

The woman wears a light-colored dress with printed floral decoration while the baby is wearing a light dress with a white bib with printed decorations. The baby’s cheeks are tinted rose.

Contrast is a little on the dark side and there is a scratch above the woman’s head but otherwise it is in good condition. Mount has light surface dirt.

Reverse has a photographer’s imprint for “T. P. VARLEY… BALTIMORE.  [ad][ph:L]
