The view is looking straight down the lane with the now razed Ward house along the right side in the distance.
Stereo view is mounted on heavy yellow stock with Recher’s name along one edge and “ANTIETAM NATIONAL CEMETERY AND BATTLEFIELD, SHARPSBURG, MD.” on the other.
