Pistol is in relic condition. It appears to be mostly complete except for the grips and magazine. Hammer is frozen in the full cocked position.
All surface metal is heavily pitted but all dirt and rust have been removed and the item is ready for display.
With the piece is a letter of authenticity from 2013 written by a previous seller stating that the relic was found in the Ardennes Forest of Belgium and that it is completely original.
Another document with the item says that this originally came from a collector in England and was recovered in the Ardennes.
Item is in very nice relic condition and is ready to display. This is an excellent relic of the Battle of the Bulge. [ad]
