Typical cannon ball for Civil War smoothbore artillery pieces. This would have used a wood drive-in fuse, which is gone.  Iron surface is in excellent “dug” condition.  Mold seam around middle; sprue mark on bottom. Recovered from Winchester, Virginia.   [jet]  [ph:L]
