This is a rare bullet from the Trans-Mississippi region. A bullet for the .54 caliber Mississippi rifle. Nice spherical nose, two grooves, and a cone cavity. Has a beautiful white and tan patina. The recovery location of this bullet is unknown, but many are recovered at or near Jenkin’s Ferry, Arkansas. [jet] [ph:L]
