Lock is heavily rusted throughout. Most of the internal parts are present. It appears that only the tumbler and sear spring are missing.
Hammer is frozen in place. Hammer screw is also missing.

VERY SCARCE 1799-1800 SWAN CONTRACT VIRGINIA MILITIA REGIMENTALLY MARKED MUSKET: 42nd REGIMENT, PITTSYLVANIA
