Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 2022-1409

This is an excavated “eagle” plate for the shoulder strap of the infantry cartridge box.

Brass face remains dirt covered and would benefit from a little cleaning. All details of the eagle display very well.

The plate’s reverse has all of the lead fill. The two iron loops remain have rusted away.

Recovered near Fredericksburg, Virginia.   [jet] [PH:L]
