Here is a fired example of the large English Tower pattern bullet.  With no grooves and cone cavity, many of these were made at the Atlanta Arsenal.

Nice “dug” specimen with white patina overall.

Recovered from the Roulette Farm on the Antietam battlefield by a father and son who had permission from the owners prior to being acquired by the NPS. The Roulette Farm borders the Sunken Road / Bloody Lane.  [jet] [ph:jet]
