The face is in very nice condition with a dark patina in the low areas and the high areas still showing brass. Face is free of dings and dents and the edges are clean.
Reverse has 100% of the lead fill and both attachment loops. Written across the face of the lead in old black ink is “WILDERNESS.” There is also a modern written label attached that reads “31. GETTYSBURG RELIC SHOW RECOVERED WILDERNESS BATTLEFIELD 1957.” [ad] [ph:L]
