Saber is complete except for the grip. Despite the rust the blade can still be drawn from the scabbard.
The blade surface is not in bad condition. There is an overall rust colored patina to it but the pitting is not overpowering. It is lightly scattered throughout. The edge has several nicks. The ricasso areas are unmarked and the leather washer at the base is gone.
Though the grip is gone the guard and pommel cap are firmly affixed though they do wiggle some.
Scabbard is full length and still retains its throat, drag, rings and mounts. The scabbard body has several good-sized indentations and there is some material loss just above the drag. [ad] [PH:L]
