Model 1839 waist belt plate with central “US”. Plate has a great face with a nice brown patina and some light dirt remaining. One very small nick on lower portion of letter “U”.

Reverse has 99% of the lead fill with the two “puppy-paw” belt studs and belt hook in place.

This belt plate was recovered by an old time collector and relic hunter near Fredericksburg, Virginia.  [jet] [ph:L]
