Here is a very personal item from a Civil War soldier. Possibly a wedding ring, this was lost and recovered in one of the camps around Fredericksburg, Virginia.
This small white metal ring measures approximately 0.75” in diameter, 0.125” wide, and 0.06” thick.
Vertical line pattern on exterior, otherwise unmarked. [jet] [ph:L]
