Iron bit for U.S. Cavalry of the Civil War period. On this variation, the Four rein style, the side “cheek” pieces never had the brass “US” medallions. Instead, an additional set of rings are attached on the sides. Unmarked, moderate surface pitting overall. Complete with “No. 1” mouth port, lower cross bar, curb chain, and rings.
