This unusual weapon consisted of a large single shot pistol that had a detachable shoulder stock which theoretically transformed it into a carbine. Here are two excavated brass parts from the pistol and stock.

This piece is one of the brass ends of the shoulder stock. This is the mechanical part that attached into the back strap of the pistol.  Many of the smaller iron components remain.

The brass has a perfect “dug” green patina.  [jet][ph:L]
