Excavated remains of a tree with a bullet fired into it.  An undetermined bullet is partially visible. Wood was split in two to expose the bullet, re-glued in place to give it a “clam shell” appearance. Wood measures 4” long x 2.5” wide x 3” tall.  Wood remains stable and is uncoated.

Recovered from Chickamauga, GA.   [ld][ph:L]
