This is a Ryker case with 13 bullets displayed. These bullets were recovered from Jones Creek, Virginia Point, Sandy Point, and a “Texas camp” at Anderson, Texas.

Several Enfields (CS & an English “L2”), Gardners, 3-ringers, and a Sharps, Burnside, and .44 Sage. All marked by the digger.

These were acquired by Dean Thomas while researching small arms ammunition from the Trans-Mississippi theater for his books, “Round Ball to Rimfire” and “Confederate Arsenals, Laboratories, and Ordnance Depots.”  [jet] [ph:L]
