This Pattern 1826 eagle breast plate is meant for use on the baldric of the Model 1840 NCO sword.

The face of the plate is in good condition with minor dents along the edge. The surface has a dark patina with some lighter oxidation in areas. Details of the eagle stamping are good.

The reverse has 98% of the lead fill with two arrow hooks and tongue.

This is a rare plate in good to very good dug condition.
