Item is a hard rubber sutler’s token that has been carved into the shape of a 23rd Corps badge. Still visible around the edges is “GOOD FOR TRADE IN GOODS” on one side and “USA 1863” on the other.

The item was published in the book “CIVIL WAR RELICS OF THE WESTERN CAMPAIGNS” and comes framed and matted with a page from that book showing this exact item.

Frame is modern and meas. 12.50 x 15.50
