Offered here is a small bowl of assorted relics excavated at Ball’s Bluff in the early 1970s. Included in the bowl is a fired friction primer, a small iron artillery shell fragment, small pewter flat button, small silver spoon bowl, seven round balls, seven fired minie balls, one dropped .69 caliber minie ball, and two English coins (dated 1817 & 1819).
Recovered by author/publisher Dean Thomas. A fine little presentation of relics as kept by Dean on a shelf for nearly 50 years. [jet] [ph:L]
