Offered here is an excavated artillery fuse adaptor from a 3” Confederate Read Shell.

Brass fuse adaptor with central hole to hold paper time fuse. There is a flange on top featuring two spanner wrench holes. The exterior is threaded.

Condition is very good with nice green patina. Recovered from Brandy Station, Virginia.  [jet] [ph:L]
