The plate has a beautiful face with a good eagle and a nice even chocolate patina. Face is free of scratches and dents.

Reverse has 100% of the lead fill and a patina to match the face. Both attachment loops are present though one is bent. Written on the lead in modern black ink is “GILGAL CHURCH DEC 18, 1960.”

The Battle of Gilgal Church was part of the Atlanta Campaign being fought on June 15, 1864.      [ad][PH:m]
