Offered here is a fine display of Confederate bullets. Twelve original specimens are provided with concise identifications on the front and with a more detailed description on the back of the case.
Bullets include all three calibers of the Confederate Gardner bullet (for Mississippi rifles, rifle muskets, and for altered M1842 rifled muskets). Buck & Ball for M1842 smoothbore muskets and several types for the rifled M1842. Bullets from various Southern arsenals and imported from Europe through the blockade: Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, and Birmingham, England.
