Excavated remains of a tree with a bullet fired into it.  Indeterminate type of bullet in the wood. Bullet is visible on one side of the wood.

Chunk of wood measures 6 ½” long x 1 ¾” wide and remains stable. Recovered in Virginia.   [ld][ph:L]
