Choice, very fine. This original Military coat size button is in very nice condition and remains not cleaned having been excavated and made at Kings St. in Covent Garden, London. Overall a very scarce and impressive example of an authentic War of 1812 British Royal Bucks military uniform button with its original shank intact. Royal Bucks oversaw major engagements in the American theatre when they came up through New Orleans to burn Washington. BM: “I” Nutting & Son King S. Covent Garden. [ld][ph:L]
