“Dug” US cartridge box plate for the outer flap of the infantry cartridge pouch. Recovered so long ago that the condition remains very good.

Large “US” in the center of the plate. The face remains smooth with a darker brown patina.

Both iron loops are rusty but intact. Lead fill in the back in smooth and fine condition.  [jet][ph:L]
