Offered here is a display of seven original Civil War carbine and pistol bullets. These bullets come double-matted in a 6.25” x 8.25” Riker case with glass front. A detailed description is pasted to the back of the case.
Included are battlefield/camp excavated bullets: .54 caliber for Burnside carbine, .54 caliber for Merrill carbine, .50 caliber for Smith and Gallager carbines, .54 caliber round ball for single-shot horse pistols/Mississippi rifles/Hall rifles, .44 caliber Colt “old model” bullet, .44 caliber Colt “new model” bullet made by Bartholow Cartridge Co., and a .44 caliber Colt bullet made by Hazard Powder Co.
