This excavated, Civil War-era, eight-sided ink bottle is in very good condition and has a very pleasing cloudy aqua color. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. It measures approximately 2.25” across its base and is 2.5” tall. Glass has wavy and bubbled texture. Mold seam and crude open pontil on bottom. Unknown recovery location.
This umbrella ink will be an excellent display piece for any campsite collection. [jet][ph:L]
