This piece is the lock plate, hammer, and many of the internal components of a Model 1863 rifle musket.

In relic condition and heavily pitted overall. Amazingly part of the manufacturing date (64) remains visible behind the hammer. One of the lock screws remains as do internal parts, except the mainspring.

A fine relic example of the piece. Unknown recovery location.  [jet] [ph:L]
