Offered here is an excavated cannon ball fragment; being about half of a 6-pounder cannon ball. This is the top of the ball. Bormann time fuse is gone, leaving the copper under plug visible.

Condition is very good with rusty iron remaining smooth and clean. Threads for Bormann fuse are visible. An old vinyl label with “Chancellorsville” is stuck to the outside while and old piece of masking tape remains on the inside, “Chancellorsville / 1960 / First item f[ound].”
