This rare British military "undress" form of jacket known as a "Patrol Frock" date in origin to the 1870s. It is black in color with ornate green-black trim and "frogging". There are some very minor losses to the frogging. The black gutta percha buttons on the epaulettes exhibit the royal coronet over the suspended powder horn.  A rarely seen British military uniform coat in fine condition. [pe] [ph:L]
