The exterior body of this jacket is in very good condition. There is no visible moth damage of any kind. All the piping is present. Both pillows are present on the back and are also in good condition. All buttons are present and are General Service eagle buttons with blank backs. Two buttons have pushes to the face. Cuffs are functional. All exterior seams are tight. Base of the collar has hook and eye closure. Buttons are all original but may have been reattached. Buttonholes have no edge stitching.
Interior is lined with a coarse blue wool material while the sleeves are lined with white muslin. There is no inside pocket. Sleeve linings have reproduction markings. Lining is in very nice condition and does not look too bad for being a repro. [ad] [ph:L]
