World War One regimental reunion ribbons are not as often encountered as their Civil War counterparts. This one is a 2.00 x 5.50 inch yellow ribbon with black lettering that reads “FIRST ANNUAL REUNION CO. “I” 302D INF. JULY 1, 1922 PEMBERTON, MASS.”
Item is in excellent, like new condition.
The 302nd Infantry was part of the 76th Division which was made up of drafted men from New England. The unit arrived in France in July of 1918 and most of its men were used as replacements for other units. [ad] [ph:L]
