Top hangar is a brass cartouche style bar. Original pin is on reverse. Hanging from this is a navy blue colored silk ribbon with gold lettering that reads, “24TH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT S. OF V. U.S.A. GETTYSBURG, PA. SEPT. 18-22, 1905”. Suspended from this on a brass ring is a round celluloid button with an image of the Northampton, Massachusetts city seal. Reverse has maker’s mark for Whitehead & Hoag, who were suppliers of badges and ribbons to veterans
Measures 3 ½” total length. Item is in good condition with just a small hole in the ribbon and light surface scratches on the brass. [sl] [ph:jet]
