White ribbon measures approximately 2.75” x 7”. Boldly and clearly printed at top is an American flag. Under that in blue, “Joint Reunion. 28th Regt. N.Y. Vols. With Battery “M” 1st N.Y. Light Artillery.” The location of the event changed as the original town (Lockport, NY) is crossed out and “Medina, N.Y.” added on the bottom. Dated May 22, 1918.

Both of these units saw action in various key engagements during the war.
