Pale blue ribbon measures approximately 2.75” x 8”. Boldly and clearly printed in black is, “41st Anniversary of the Departure of the 125th N.Y. Vols for the Seat of War of Rebellion. Averill Park, Aug. 27,1903.” This is followed by a long list of battles in which the regiment participated.

This 2nd Corps regiment was active from their capture at Harpers Ferry (Antietam Campaign) through to the end of the war at Appomattox.
