Brass bar at top is stamped with the word “SOUVENIR” at center of a linear border toped at center by scrollwork. Original pin remains on the reverse.
Suspended from the bar is a mint condition red, white & blue ribbon holding a brass drop.
The drop is in the shape of a circle with five arms. At center is a relief of an equestrian monument surrounded by “HARTRANFT MONUMENT HARRISBURG” in raised lettering. The top arm of the circle has the word “UNVEILING” while the bottom two have “MAY 12” and “1899.” The two other arms are decorated with scrollwork.
Badge is mounted on a white display card with a neat description of the badge beneath. [ad] [ph:L]
