White ribbon with gold printing meas. approx. 1.50 inches wide x 5.25 inches long. At top is spread-winged eagle perched on a knapsack and crossed rifles. Below the rifles is a prison stockade with a Union prisoner being mauled by a dog. Below the art work is printed “36TH ANNIVERSARY OF NEW JERSEY UNION EX-PRISONERS OF WAR NEWARK, N. J. SEPT. 15, 1922.”
