Small souvenir canteen is made of tin. It shows a cork stopper with chain and sling keepers with original cord. Both sides are covered in wool felt. Front side features the G.A.R. membership star with wording that reads, “G.A.R. / WE DRANK FROM THE SAME CANTEEN / 1861-1865”. Reverse is plain.
Canteen measures 2 ¼” in diameter. Felt shows light surface dirt and wear. [sl]
