The top bar of this medal is rectangular with “PITTSBURG” at center. This is topped by an arch that reads “1894.” The reverse of the bar has the original pin.
Suspended from the bar is a keystone shaped drop with the GAR Coat of Arms at center. Across the top is “GAR” while around the arms is “DELEGATE FROM PENNSYLVANIA TO NATIONAL ENCAMPT.” Reverse of the drop is blank.
There is a gold ribbon, now separated, that would have been suspended from the top bar and passed behind the whole medal. This ribbon is frayed on both ends. [ad] [ph:L]
