Ribbon honors meeting of post number 165, L.E Fitch and post no. 650 L.A Hazard both located Elmira, New York.  Post no. 165 is named after 2nd Lt. Lewis Edgar Fitch who was a member of Company C, 161st NY Infantry division and KIA at Sabine Crossroads, LA in 1864.  Post no. 650 namesake is from 1st Lt. Adjutant Louis Alexander Hazard from Company K, 141st NY Infantry, who was editor of the Elmira Gazette post war.

Item measures 6 7/8” long and 2 1/8” wide.  Composed of dark red silk with fraying on top and bottom.     [mc] [ph:L]
