Brass UCV reunion pin with an eagle perched on top of bar reading “souvenir” on the pin bar, with wreath-bordered shield suspended below bearing a CS battle flag crossed with a U.S. flag, in a gesture of reconciliation, with enamel color, underneath “Reunion / U.C.V.” and over “1907 / May 30 June 3/ Richmond, VA.” This was the seventeenth national reunion of the organization.
The brass has a even semi-bright color with no age spots and a clear Schwaab / Milwaukee maker’s mark on the reverse. Excellent condition. Pin in place on reverse. [sr] [ph:L]
