This is a set of two khaki canvas pouches with closure snaps and shoulder straps. They are the Pattern 1937 and are front and rear pouches. Each pouch is marked under the top flap with a maker and “1940” with a broad arrow. One pouch is marked on the reverse “MADE IN ENGLAND.”
The wide portion of the shoulder strap is marked “H.E. CO. 1941” with a broad arrow and “LONG.” Shoulder strap is narrow for the keepers and may be for something else.
Pouches and strap are in excellent unused condition.
Pouches will hold magazines for the Sten gun, Thompson submachinegun or Bren gun. [ad] [ph:L]
