This pattern 1912 web garrison belt is in good condition. The canvas is strong and free of any rips or tears. There is some scattered surface dirt and inked initials on the inside. Belt has heavy brass interlocking buckle with brass keepers. No maker’s mark or date is visible.
Attached to the belt is a brown leather Model 1916 holster for the ,45 Model 1911 pistol. Leather is in good condition. Reverse is strongly marked “US” over “GRATON & KNIGHT CO.” Just visible under the leather frog is “GOODRICH” over “CO. E.” Leather thong is present at bottom of the holster.
Copper rivets on the holster and brass grommets on the belt do show some light verdigris. [ad] [ph:L]
