Item Code: 490-3826
Item was originally a jagged piece of shrapnel approx. 9.50 inches long.
Someone fashioned the last 6.00 inches into a scimitar shaped blade for letter opening use while leaving the handle in its original jagged shell fragment configuration.
Location where the fragment was originally recovered is not known. Most likely it is from France. [ad] [ph:L]
