Kit is made of a stiff khaki material and is held closed by a single OD green snap.

When the kit is opened, it forms a cross meas. approx. 7.50 x 10.25 inches.

The two side panels are plain flaps meant to fold over the center of the kit when closed.

The bottom flap is marked in silver ink with “AUTO STROP SAFETY RAZOR / PROPERTY U. S. ARMY.”

The top flap holds an oval mirror with a thin piece of cloth for attaching the kit and mirror to a hook or nail. Mirror is in good condition and is marked along the top edge “AUTO STROP SAFETY RAZOR.”

At center of the kit is a folded leather strop held by an OD green cloth loop, a razor head marked “AUTO STROP” held by two metal clips, a screw-in handle for the razor head also held by a green cloth loop and a small black box containing six Auto Strop razor blades still in the original wrappers.
