White celluloid circle meas. approx.  1.50 inches across with the original pin on the reverse.

The face has a raised eagle and swastika touched with gold over a raised background of mountains on the right and a factory on the left. Above the eagle are the letters “N.S.D.A.P.” signifying the Nazi Party while below it is “KREISTAG ALTENA LÜDENSCHEID” or “DISTRICT COUNCIL OF ALTENA LÜDENSCHEID.” The item is dated “13.u.14.5.1939” or May 13 & 14 1939.

The district of Altena Ludenschied is located in western central Germany near the Lenne River.

Item shows some light wear and surface dirt from age and storage but is otherwise good.  [ad] [ph:L]
