Item is made of a blueish-gray wool cloth with a cut-out white embroidered spread-winged eagle holding a swastika in its talons sewn to the front above a red, white and blue cockade which is also made of cloth and sewn to the front of the cap.
Cap has a black cotton liner that is in good condition and free of any maker’s name or mark. Bottom edge shows light surface dirt from use.
Bottom edge of the exterior also shows some dirt and dust from use and storage. [ad][ph:L]
