Item is made of cotton with a printed decoration on the front of the flags of the allied nations surrounding the Statue of Liberty. All is done in full color.
At center of the piece is the Statue of Liberty in gold flanked by two US flags above the Coat of arms of the United States consisting of a spread-winged eagle with a patriotic shield on his chest and an “E PLURIBUS RIBAND” in his beak surmounted by “UNITED FOR LIBERTY” in red.
The other full color flags on the piece are Italy, England, Canada, Belgium, Japan, Montenegro, Greece, Servia, Portugal, China, Cuba, Russia, Rumania and France.
The edges of the sham are surrounded with cloth fringe.
Item is in good condition but does show some yellowing from age. [ad] [ph:L]
