Blade is in very nice condition. True edge has no nicks. Blade has original finish over three-quarters of its length but is bright near the point.
Iron counterguard is marked “KA-BAR” and “USN MK2.” Stampings are nice, deep and clear. Leather grip is in very good condition. Just shows some light age. Pommel is dark with just a hint of rust.
Gray plastic scabbard has gray woven frog. Iron throat is marked on front “USN MK2” in two lines while the opposite side has “NORD-6581, B. M. Co. 7 VP” in two lines. Scabbard shows only light wear.
Iron throat and snap tips discolored slightly. [ad] [ph:L]
