During World War One when American units had been in France for a while these garrison caps replaced the Montana peaked campaign hat and became more commonly known as the “overseas” cap.

This one is made of heavy OD Green wool and is unlined. The interior has a narrow brown sweatband. Left side of the front holds a 1920’s “US” disc.

Item is in good condition with only light wear. [ad] [ph:m]
